Wednesday morning, Tomoko had manuscript bound up and put into envelope, all ready to be handed it over.
"Arf arf, it's getting late. You'd better go."
Charo barked right under the clock so that Tomoko would notice the time.
"Whoops! I need to hurry. I'll see you guys later!"
She ran out of the apartment. But then...
"What was that?"
"Tomoko?"
Charo and Louis jumped through the dog door, and saw Tomoko downstairs holding her ankle.
"Arf arf! Tomko! Are you all right?"
The two dogs tumble down the stairs to her side.
"Oh, I think I sprained my ankle."
Tomoko tried to get up but a sharp pain ran through her leg.
"I... can't walk. Oh, no. I won't be there in time for Mr. Bernhardt.
Charo and Louis looked at each other.
"We'd better get Jane."
"She's gone to work. It's too far. We won't make it by 12."
"But there's no other choice."
"Okay. I'll go to the theater with the script and keep Mr. Bernhardt there. You go and get Jane."
"Gotcha!"
Louis dashed out.
Charo stood by Tomoko, licked her face and took the envelope between his teeth.
"Wha... you are going to bring it to Mr. Bernhardt?"
"Oh, thank you, Charo. I know it's a lot to ask, but I guess there's no other choice. I'll be counting on you. 12 o'clock, that's the time limit.
12 o'clock. That was when Shota's father was supposed to come to the hotel.

He then remembered the night when Tomoko finished the script for One Last Ticket.

"Sirius!"
"Sirius! I have to bring this script to the theater by 12. But I can't move because of all these people."
"Which theater?"
"Where the premiere is being held for The Red Star."
"Got it. Hop on my back."

"I promised Dread. Now is the time to help you."
With that, Sirius threw Charo onto his back and dashed into the street.
Before Charo knew it, they were jumping on top of the cars that were caught in a traffic.
"Ah! Look, Mommy. That dog!"
It was as if Sirius had grown wings. He was definitely flying from one car roof to another.
"Hold on tight. This one is going to be a long jump."
The next moment, Sirius and Charo were soaring in the air, higher and higher.
They jumped over the crowds of people and landed right in front of the theater.
Charo hopped off and put the precious envelope on the ground.
He didn't know how to thank Sirius.
"Sirius..."
"Don't thank me, thank Dread."
At that moment, the clock struck 12.
Limos were arriving, people were greeting the guests and celebrities with loud applause.
